Belinda Kpoglo and Milot Pokuaa celebrate after scoring our equaliser against Epiphany Warriors

Belinda Kpoglo scored a brace in Saturday afternoon's GoldFields Women's Premier League fixture against Epiphany Warriors.

The two teams met on matchday three of the 2026/27 league season, with Hasaacas on a winning run while Epiphany, playing at home, chased their first win of the season.

Head coach Raymond Fenny made one change to our starting lineup for the trip, with Jennifer Awuku starting her first league game this season while Veronica Baah Kumah was relegated to the bench.

Two minutes into the game, the home side struck through Jessica Appiah Asamoah, beating the Hasaacas high line and slotting the ball past Grace Banwaa.

But the Ladies fought back and won a penalty in the 20th minute, which was converted by Belinda for her second goal of the new season.

11 minutes later, Comfort Owusu won another penalty after she was fouled by the goalkeeper in the box. Once again, Belinda was handed the responsibility and dispatched the advantage cleanly to give us the lead.

Epiphany dominated the majority of the second half, but we held our nerves and defended with everything to see out the victory.

Lorreta Afful, Mary Ndali, Talata, Christabel Arthur and Baah Kumah all came on in the second half to contribute to the victory.

We will now turn our attention to the next league game against Immigration Ladies in Takoradi next weekend.
